Women's Enterprise and Networking Event

This FREE event inspired, educated and motivated women entrepreneurs and owner-managers - helping break down barriers for women starting or growing their business.

Our dynamic keynote speaker was Dawn Gibbins MBE DBA, a local business woman who has lectured in inspirational leadership at Henley Management College and worked with the Professor of Creativity & Organisational Change at Manchester Business School.

Through workshops attendees learned more about:

• Starting a business – turning dreams into a reality, valuing talents, overcoming the barriers, learning about the help and support that is available

• Growing a business – networking effectively, attracting and keeping customers, setting out vision & managing risk, employing & managing staff

• Marketing a business – the brand, understanding your customer, keeping ahead of the competition, using the internet to promote your business.

The event was a fantastic opportunity for women to come together to share experiences, inspire others and develop new business relationships.
